The
South
Llano
River
is one of the last of the free flowing waterways left in
Texas
. The River is fed by the land of 700 springs emanating from Edwards County to the
southwest and winding its way over 100 miles to merge with the Colorado River and
find its way to the Gulf of Mexico. The clear, bright water offers much to recreation
and fishing alike. The native pecan bottoms and trees along the river host a wide
variety of wildlife including deer, turkey and birds.
South Llano River Lodge
has been created to provide our guests a signature experience of this beautiful
area of
Texas.
